My journey into teaching has been shaped by a longstanding passion for mathematics and a belief that high-quality education can transform life chances. Before returning to the UK, I taught maths and physics internationally, including preparing students for GCSE and American SAT II examinations.

My academic background is in engineering, which gives me strong subject knowledge and lets me teach maths through practical, real-world applications — helping students see not just how maths works, but why it actually matters.

Since returning to the UK, I’ve built a tutoring practice supporting students of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, both face-to-face and online. That experience has sharpened my ability to spot individual learning gaps quickly and adapt lessons so every student — not just the confident ones — keeps making progress.

I’m currently completing my PGCE with QTS at the University of Worcester, where I’ve deepened my understanding of evidence-informed teaching, behaviour management and assessment for learning, with hands-on experience across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

I’m fully committed to safeguarding and to creating a learning environment that’s inclusive, supportive and genuinely encouraging — because students do their best work when they feel valued, not judged.
